The Third Skin
The Third Skin project is an installation that critically examines the convergence of dress and the Japanese all over Body Tattoo, both as practices and as markers of identity.
The installation is comprised of four garments that feature motifs of carnivorous plants as tattoo prints that reference the femme fatale and women’s sexuality in the popular imagination.
